1,300-Vehicle Capacity Automated Car Park Opens At Lagos Airport

In line with the best global practice, the Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA), Lagos has launched 1,300 ultra modern multistorey car park.

The 6- storey building automated car park which opened yesterday was a product of a tripartite partnership of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Seymour Aviation and Fidelity Bank. It is fitted with modern conveniences, executive lounges, meeting rooms and ablution areas.

The Managing Director, Seymour Aviation Limited, Mr. Francis Ikenga, stated that the facility was built to international standards with waiting lounge, bomb detectors, public address system and conveniences on all the six floors.

He noted, “It was conceived for the corporate objective to transform Nigeria’s airport to world-class standards.”

“This will contribute to making Nigeria the aviation hub, not just for West Africa, but for sub-Sahara Africa.”

The Deputy Managing Director of Fidelity Bank, Mr. Mohammed Balarabe on his part said the new car park would serve airport users looking forward to world class facility. This, he said, informs the decision of Fidelity to support the project.
