The Nigerian troops of “Operation Lafiya Dole” inflicted huge losses on Boko Haram terrorists who planned to attack Madagali in Adamawa State last night killing 42 of them.

The terrorists in their commando style had planned a siege on Madagali but got more than they bargained for as they were pummeled by the Nigerian troops.

The terrorists were advancing on Gulak, the headquarters of Madagali local government when the Nigerian troops got wind of their evil plans, who swiftly, engaged the insurgents in a fierce gun duel, which led to scores of them dead, as the invading terrorists were furiously rolled back with the superior gunfire of troops.

The repel of the terrorists was confirmed by the Adamawa State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Ahmad Sajoh. Several eye witnesses also confirmed the incident.
