The uncertainty surrounding the date of return of President Muhammadu Buhari back into the country after prolonged medical treatment in London will be put to rest rest today (Sturday) as the recuperating president is billed for an imminent return this evening.

This is according to a statement issued by the Presidential spokesperson, Femi Adesina.

‘President Muhammadu Buhari returns to the country later today, after receiving medical attention in London’.
‘The President had left the country on May 7, this year, after handing over power to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who has functioned as Acting President since then’.
‘President Buhari is expected to speak to Nigerians in a broadcast by 7 a.m on Monday, August 21, 2017’.
‘He thanks all Nigerians who have prayed ceaselessly for his recovery and well-being since the beginning of the health challenge’.
The President has been receiving visitors in London. He was visited yesterday by the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Enoch Adeboye. This visit is coming on the heels of the visit of Senate President, Bukola Saraki and his House of Representative counterpart, Yakubu Dogara 24 hours earlier on Thursday
