The talks in town about 2019 and all the political gladiators are gearing up. On Monday, news broke that the President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Festus Keyamo (SAN) as the spokesperson of his 2019 campaign team, just as former President Olusegun Obasanjo was revealed to be in a closed-door meeting with National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Chief Olu Falae.
The news of the appointment of Festus Keyamo (SAN) as Buhari’s campaign spokesperson was disclosed via a tweet on his official account on Tuesday. He said he has received a letter which shows he has been appointed the Director, Strategic Communications (Official Spokesperson) for the President’s 2019 Presidential Campaigns.
Falae meet Obasanjo at Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, OOPL, Abeokuta. He was accompanied by two-time governorship candidate of Ogun State, Gboyega Nasiru Isiaka; a former spokesperson for former President Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe; SDP governorship aspirant, Sina Kawonise.
