President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday night met with the national caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The meeting, held behind closed-doors at the New Banquet Hall of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja, was attended by party leaders and state governors.
In attendance were Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, APC National Chairman John Odigie-Oyegun, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, APC National Leader Ahmed Bola Tinubu, Senate President Bukola Saraki, House of Representatives Speaker Yakubu Dogara, Senate Leader Ali Ndume, among others.
The governors present at the meeting included those of Osun, Kaduna, Ogun, Bauchi, Kogi, Borno, Edo, Kano, Plateau, Nasarawa, Jigawa and Sokoto.
