The Canada-Nigeria Intergovernmental and Business Summit “CANIBUS 2016” will take place on September 14-16th at the International Plaza Hotel in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The event will definitely enhance bilateral cooperation between Nigeria and Canada most especially in the areas of trade and investment.

The Nigerian and Canadian Business Network, one of the organizer of CANIBUS 2016 today announced that the One-on-One Partnering system is now open for the CANIBUS 2016 , at the International Plaza Hotel in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, September 14-16th. One-on-One Partnering enables companies to initiate business contacts and schedule private meetings at the Summit will be available throughout the summit.

The Summit attracts or will attract the biggest names in Canada-Nigeria Bilateral Trade. CANIBUS 2016 is expected to draw over 400 attendees, offering:

  • key networking and partnering opportunities,
  • Provide insights and inspiration on major trends affecting the bilateral Trade flow.

“This year’s Summit is set to break all previous partnering records, with over 200 meetings expected to take place,” said Wale Olaitan, Co-Chair of the CANIBUS 2016 International Summit. “Effective deal-making” is important in order to accomplish CANIBUS 2016’s goals. CANIBUS 2016’s theme is “Canada-Nigeria Synergy For Improving Bilateral Trade, Investment And Partnership Opportunities In The New Nigeria”.

” Over 100 companies are expected to participate in One-on-One Partnering meetings at the CANIBUS 2016 Business Forum and in the CANIBUS 2016 Exhibition. Nominations are now being accepted for the 2016 Buzz of CANIBUS 2016 contest, which recognizes noteworthy companies in the Pipelines of Promise of Tomorrow categories. Winners receive a complimentary Summit Access Partnering pass, and an opportunity to make a company pitch in the CANIBUS 2016 Business Forum. Voting will be opens June 20 and closes on August 22.
