Police Arrest Boko Haram’s Spokesman At Senator Ali Ndume’s House

Senator Ali Ndume, who represents Borno South Senatorial District in the National Assembly continued to be embroid in Boko Haram brouhaha as the  former spokesman of terrorist sect, Ali Sanda Umar Konduga, also known Al-Zawahiri, has been arrested by the police in the house of Senate Leader.

He was said to have been apprehended by policemen attached to the Government Residential Area, GRA, Police Station for paying three consecutive visits to the home of the lawmaker, who is currently on pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.

Konduga who was recently released from prison after serving three years and believed to be mentally unstable sneaked into Ndume’s house on Sunday night. He was identified, beaten beyond recognition, and rearrested on Wednesday on his third visit to the senator’s house.

A source said, “As luck will run against him, Konduga came back again to the house on Wednesday at about 4pm, where he was identified by some close associates of Ndume who used to accompany the senator to the Federal High Court in Abuja then.

“Policemen in charge of G.R.A police station were alerted and rearrested Konduga. He is now in police cell, while Senator Ndume has been informed.”

Konduga was arraigned alongside Senator Ndume before an Abuja High Court.
