The naira continued to be pummeled as it dropped four points to trade at a new record low of 440 against the United States dollar in black market, on Sunday night, September 25 to Monday morning, September 26.
This comes against the backdrop of the lingering foreign exchange scarcity in the Central Bank of Nigeria.
At the interbank market, the naira closed at 307.79 on Friday and has remained the same as at this morning.
