The German government has pledged a donation of N16 billion about €47.6 million to Nigeria for the resettlement of Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs due to the menace of Boko Haram.
The German government stated that the initiative was aimed at tackling the root cause of the displacement of refugees and speed up their integration ‘One World No Hunger Green Innovation’.
Germany at the same time reaffirmed its commitment to stay engaged in the priority areas in of sustainable economic growth, Nigerian energy support programme and technical cooperation.
The money is meant for the initiation of special projects that will hasten the resettlement of the displaced people
