The long drawn battle for the soul of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will reach a legal conclusion today as the Supreme Court delivers judgement of the leadership tussle rocking the party.
The battle is between the Court of Appeal which recognized Ali Modu Sheriff as the authentic chairman of the party and the faction led by Ahmed Makarfi.
All efforts by the leaders of the party including former President Goodluck Jonathan to settle the leadership logjam out of court have all hit brick walls necessitating the court to be the final arbiter. Hopefully, the Supreme Court decision will finally ushers in peace into the once biggest party in Nigeria, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
