Multiple blasts from three female and one male suicide bombers has led to the death of ten lives, while 21 others were injured. The attack is perpetrated by Boko Haram terrorists on the residents of Molai, along Maiduguri, Damboa, Biu road in Borno State.
Residents of the area were thrown into confusion as bomb explosion ripped the city Tuesday night. Residents said the explosion was heard around Molai Kura, an outskirt along the Maiduguri, Damboa road.
The first explosion, which went off around 10:15 pm, was followed by another one. And the third explosion followed later.
The Borno State Police Commissioner, Damian Chukwu, who addressed journalists at one of the scenes of the blasts, said most of the victims were operatives of the Civilian-JTF.
“Twelve Civilian-JTF operatives were killed in all the attack and the rest were civilian victims”, he said. He said the seven civilian residents that died were killed when they gathered to mourn the death of the 12 Civilian-JTF operatives.
