The Super Eagles of Nigeria have become the first African team to qualify the FIFA world cup in Russia in 2018.
The Super Eagles needing a victory against Zambia in their group’s penultimate match for a berth in Russia did just that through a 74 ,minutes goal by Arsenal attacker, Alex Iwobi.
The Super Eagles exhibited superiority in a group comprising of Cameroon, Algeria and Zambia. They will join other countries like Brazil, Spain, Mexico, England, Germany, Iran, South Korea, etc. who have also booked their places at next year’s tournament
