The Catholic Pontiff, Pope Francis has admitted that he sometimes fall asleep during prayers.
In an episode of a Catholic TV2000 television programme published on Youtube on Tuesday, the Pope said: “When I pray, sometimes I fall asleep”.
He backed up his claim by saying that even saints have been known to visit the land of nod when talking to God.
“Saint Therese did it too,” he said.
He explained that in the 19th Century, Christians were called to feel like children in their fathers arms when praying – an ideal location for a nap.
