Real Madrid made it a second consecutive title at the Club World Cup with a one-nil defeat of Brazilian champion Gremio in Abu Dhabi, making it the fifth title of the year for the Los Blancos.
With the victory, Real is the World, Europe and Spain champion. The season is also the most trophy-laden season in the club history. Before now, the highest number of trophies Real has won in a season is four. The Zinedine Zidane tutored boy upped the ante by winning five in a year.

“We were aware of the record,” acknowledged Ramos. “It made us even more motivated for today’s match.”
