Thousands of peaceful Palestinian protesters in Gaza were met with Isreali soldiers live fire killing 16 and injuring many, and the world kept mute at the flagrant injustice.
The Palestinians were peacefully protesting for the right to return to their homes in what is now illegally Israel, which Israel says would threaten its Jewish majority.
Israeli officials on Saturday blamed Gaza rulers Hamas for Friday’s demonstration, saying the group was using civilians to sow violence. The military said militants had used the protest as a pretext to attack the border fence, with at least two Palestinians shooting first before Israeli soldiers returned fire.
United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres urged an “independent and transparent investigation” into the bloodshed. Israel’s neighbors Jordan and Egypt condemned what they described as the Israeli military’s excessive use of force. Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas called for a day of mourning Saturday.
With the US eventually openly demonstrating that it was not a fair broker of peace between the Israeli and Palestinians unending saga, the road to peace is far and unclear.

They were not “peaceful” protestors. Israelis were just reacting to violence. This happens all the time and eventually Palestinians loose and lick their wounds.
And you think these ceaseless killings are justified? Palestinians have been living under siege for over 50 years and the world led by the Super Powers are merely dilly dallying, inventing empty invectives at resolving the Israel- Palestine impasse. This malaise has festered for too long
