IGP-Saraki Face-Off: Senate Delegation Meet Buhari

A 10-man delegation from the Senate is in the Presidential Villa for a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.

The meeting coming on the heels of the face-off between Senate President Bukola Saraki and Inspector General of the Police Ibrahim Idris. The meeting started around 1:00 pm.

The Saraki has accused the IGP of try to frame him up after some criminal suspects apprehended in Kwara State were transferred to Abuja.

Those in the delegation include Senate Leader Ahmad Lawan, Chief Whip Olusola Adeyeye, Minority Leader Godswill Akpabio, Danjuma Goje, Sam Anyanwu, Aliyu Wammako and Fatima Raji-Rasaki
