A rebellious thief of masculinity is on a rampage across the globe, destroying your vitality, your health, and wreaking havoc on your sexuality.
It’s a scourge of epic proportions, thanks to big food and drug companies hell-bent on profits — at the expense of your manhood. Most men know little about it, yet it’s robbing the vital mojo of men all over the world.
And if you’ve been exposed to commercially grown foods (especially meat and dairy), processed junk, air and water pollution, man-made supplements, and spend most of your time indoors, then it’s probably affecting you too — perhaps without you even knowing about it.
If you feel tired and sluggish or notice that you’re struggling with digestive problems, stubborn fat, lowered sex drive, constipation, food cravings, allergies, weird mood swings, out-of-control blood lipids, or up-and-down blood sugar levels, then the truth is that your body is likely loaded with dangerous toxins, including:
- Xenoestrogens from pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides
- Heavy metals like mercury, aluminum, and lead
- Genetically modified “Frankenfoods” that alter your DNA
- Unnatural hormone and antibiotic residues
Since these toxins mimic estrogen in the body, they are draining your masculinity, making it tougher to lose stubborn fat and accelerating the aging process.
How It All Started
It all started about 50 years ago when farmers, food companies and pharmaceutical companies decided to start adding man-made chemicals to our food and personal care items. They started putting estrogenic hormones in the cattle, pigs and poultry that we eat. They wanted to make the animals grow faster and make the meat softer and fattier. Dairy cows were given hormones so that they would produce more milk. This strategy worked and their profits soared!
But, as a result, you are perhaps unknowingly ingesting pounds upon pounds of these “xenoestrogens” every single year and losing your manhood in the process. Xenoestrogens mimic the effect of estrogen in the body. These estrogen mimickers easily bind to estrogen receptor sites within the body, leading to a feminization of your body, such as breast growth (aka man boobs) and prostate enlargement. If you’re struggling to control your weight as well as experiencing a lack sexual desire and stamina, these estrogen mimickers are probably the reason.
You consume xenoestrogens when you eat fruits and vegetables that have been treated with pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers. Xenoestrogens are in the additives and preservatives in beverages and packaged foods of all kinds, including cookies, sodas, breads, muffins, cereal, chocolate, ice cream, and frozen foods. And many forms of dangerous xenoestrogens are in most personal care products — they’re even in the water you drink.
The Effects
Male reproductive health has deteriorated in many countries during the last few decades. In the 1990s, declining semen quality has been reported from Belgium, Denmark, France, and Great Britain. So has the incidence of testicular cancer.
In recent years, a large volume of evidence has accumulated that suggests that the trend of decreasing male fertility (in terms of sperm count, quality and other changes in male reproductive health) might be due to exposure to environmental toxins, which (as noted earlier) can mimic natural estrogens and impair normal sperm and testosterone production.
Most environmental toxins have been shown to create reactive oxygen species (ROS), which cause a state of oxidative stress in various compartments of the testes — these are just a few of the negative manhood-robbing effects of environmental and food-borne toxins.
The Solution
You’re probably wondering: “What do I do to reduce my exposure to these toxins?”
I’m glad you asked. The answer is quite simple really — detoxify your body. I know the word “cleanse” or “detox” usually conjures up images of deprivational diets that help celebs shed 10 pounds over a weekend. That’s not what I’m talking about here.
When I lead my clients through a detox, what I’m really doing is removing the problematic foods, adding in more of the good ones and providing adequate rest and nutrients for their cells and vital organs to function normally.
As an example, the liver is your body’s main detoxification organ and is responsible for metabolizing excess estrogen in the body. However, if you’re overly toxic due to chronic consumption of alcohol, sugar, processed foods, and environmental toxins, then your liver is likely overworked. As a result, it is not able to get rid of the excess estrogen in your body.
Here are a few strategies to love your liver and bring it back to life so it can help you restore’s your body natural vitality and manly mojo:
Start your day with a glass of lukewarm water with fresh-squeezed lemon.
Lemon water helps stimulate your gall bladder and liver to eject toxic bile that has built up overnight and the previous day. It also stimulates a healthy bowel movement, which is needed to rid your body of that toxicity.
Cut the sugar and wheat
Any food that spikes your blood sugar and thus insulin — namely sugar and wheat products — leads to a suppression of testosterone production. They also provide an increased load on your liver, which we obviously do not want.
Veggie almighty
Vegetables are the ultimate detoxifiers. They provide your liver and all of your body’s cells with the exact nutrients they require to function properly and eliminate toxic waste. The cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, and cabbage (or sauerkraut) are especially potent.
I hope this information brings awareness to a scary situation while, at the same time, reassures you that you can prevent or reverse the negative effects of excess toxicity by cleaning up your diet.
