The Kwara State Pilgrims Welfare Board said at the weekend that the inaugural flight for pilgrims for this year’s Hajj will be on August 23. Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaja Fatimoh Abolore Jimoh disclosed this at an enlightenment programme for intending pilgrims from the state.
She said the pilgrims would be airlifted in four batches with 500 pilgrims per flight.
She added that all necessary arrangements have been put in place to ensure a hitch-free exercise. She advised intending pilgrims to be prayerful and abide by the rules and regulations of Hajj Commission.
