There is always a reward and commendation for good deeds and excellence. This aptly describes the case of police sergeant Godwin Hosea who was promoted by the Nigeria Police Force for manufacturing bullet proof jackets locally.
Sergeant Hosea had on Wednesday, July 22 presented his work to the Inspector General of Police during a one-day working visit to Bauchi state police command. He presented a fabricated bullet proof jacket which he manufactured locally and at an affordable price.
Arase ordered him to be promoted with immediate effect. He was decorated by the Bauchi state commissioner of police, Mohammed K. Mohammed. The commissioner of police Bauchi state command, while decorating the newly promoted Inspector, congratulated and urged him to rededicate himself and reciprocate the gesture done to him by the IGP.
He also enjoined other officers to emulate the newly promoted officer and harness their God given talent in order to move the force and the nation forward.
