The Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria, AMCON in an effort to recover its debts sealed off the Abuja premises of Silverbird Galleria belonging to Senator Ben Murray-Bruce.
This is coming few days after it secured court order to freeze the assets of Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim. The 7- storey galleria houses the Silverbird television station and Rhythm FM belong to Senator Bruce and other businesses including Shoprite.
AMCON sealed the building with the assistance of security operatives after securing a court order to do so. Conspicuously pasted on the wall of the galleria is an enforcement notice which says, “Possession taken by court order 26/06/16.”
Similarly fate also befell the Silverbird Galleria in Victoria Island, Lagos
