Amokachi To Coach Finnish Club JS Hercules

Oulu-based football club JS Hercules in Finland has signed former international and coach of the Nigerian national team Daniel Amokachi as the club coach for a year. Amokachi will be assisted by Pekka Haaranen who coached the club in the just concluded Finnish league

His appointment was confirmed with a statement on its website which said that the for Super Eagles striker will resume immediately.

Amokachi was part of the Nigerian Squad that participated in the country’s first World Cup in 1994. He was also part of the Nigerian squad to the 1998 World Cup in France. He was capped 44 times by the National Team and scored 13 goals.
