President Muhammadu Buhari returned to Nigeria after almost 2 weeks in the United Kingdom where he went for ear treatment.
“I am ok. I am better. You can see me inspecting the guards of honour. Now you can do the assessment yourself,” Buhari told reporters at the airport.
Meanwhile, the opposition party-the Peoples Democratic Party on its twitter said on Sunday President Buhari was “critically ill” and he had returned to Abuja to continue treatment, but did not provide source of the information.
The President is 73 years old, it is expected of one of his age to be experiencing some forms of ill health. We can only implore the President to uegently address the clear and present danger in the Nigerian medical sector. Our health facilities are in a parlous state and our medical professionals are often guilty of maltreating patients.
