This is coming after revelation emerged that the Army boss has 2 luxurious mansion in Dubai worth about $1.5m. Those calling for his sack are human rights lawyer, Mr. Femi Falana (SAN), another Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Chief Mike Ozekhome; and the publicity secretary of Afenifere, Mr. Yinka Odumakin among others.

The ante for the sacking Bururai was upped by the statement by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, that looted monies running into billions of naira have been recovered buried in farmlands in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The speaker was silent on the precise amount recovered from the farmlands, but he said he was informed that an estimated N1.5 billion cash had so far been dug up.
