Nigerian singers had a great outing at the MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs) last night in South Africa.
P-Square has won the Best Group and Artiste Of The Decade Awards. Best New Act Award was also won by Patoranking of Nigeria.
D’banj has won the Evolution Act Award, which he was competing with Ghana’s Dance Hall artiste, Samini, 2Face(Nigeria), Anselmo Ralph (Angola), Asa (Nigeria), Black Coffee (South Africa), Chameleone (Uganda), ,Fally Ipupa (DRC), HHP (South Africa), and P-Square(Nigeria).
Yemi Alade has won the Best Female Award and the audience is comparing her to Nicki Minaj with her outstanding voice.
The MAVINS have won the Song OF The Year Award with their instant hit, Durobucci.
Davido has won the Best Male Act Award for the second time in a row.
