A loaded fuel tanker exploded in Ibadan on Sunday, killing one person and destroying properties worth millions of naira including 13 vehicles.
The sole accident which occurred at Oremeji bus stop along the road, involved a long vehicle heading towards Lagos.
Eye witness said that the vehicle had lost part of its body which hit a stationed petrol tanker before catching fire.
The incidence was confirmed by Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Oyo State sector command’s Public Enlightenment Officer, Seun Onijala.
