Several villages were attacked, many houses burnt and about 30 people were feared dead as Fulani herdsmen went on a rampage in Adamawa State.
The killers were said to have arrived the communities Wednesday night on motorcycles and in pick-up vans and began killing and burning down houses in the villages. The villages attacked include Bolki, Bang, Nzumoso, Boki and Gon, in Numan and Lamurde local government areas of Adamawa State.
SP Othman Abubakar, the state Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed that 12 people were killed while 150 houses were burnt down.
Also confirming the attack is Haruna Furo, the Head of Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency (ADSEMA) and Malam Abbani Imam, the state Coordinator of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA)
