The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) according to a statement it issued yesterday.
The statement by the Head, Public Affairs, Dr Fabian Benjamin said “After viewing all CCTV footage during the conduct of the UTME and considering reports from our supervisors, monitors and other independent Nigerians, who took interest in promoting the quality of public examination in Nigeria the exam results for 1,502,978 candidates, were released. But results for 111,981 candidates were withheld for further screening.”
A total of 1,652,825 candidates had registered for the exam
Also, the exam results for 112,331candidates including 350 blind candidates would be released in next to no time, the statement added.
Foreign candidates would write the exam in April.
