The abductors of four pupils, a teacher and a Vice-Principal at Lagos Junior Model College have given the families of the victims 48 hours to pay ransoms they demanded.
The victims were kidnapped on Thursday and the kidnappers have demanded a ransom of N6 million for the six victims following a reduction in the amount from N5 million for each victim earlier demanded.
One of the victims, a schoolboy is reported to be sick, with the kidnappers confirming that his condition is worsening as time progresses.
“The men called on Monday and said they gave the family till Wednesday to pay the ransom. While the family members begged them, the kidnappers let them realize that the health of the boy had worsened, but they would not release him without a good ransom. They had come down from N3.5m to N1m ransom,” a source revealed to the Punch .
