‘Museum of African American Music’ to Honour New Edition

Their 40th anniversary will be honoured with the New Edition Exhibit.

This weekend in Nashville, Tennessee, The National Museum of African American Music and the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) will present renowned New Edition with a well-deserving honour.

For their particular honour, the guys will be in the building.

In celebration of their 40th anniversary, the New Edition exhibit will be on display. being treated on April 16th at 2:00 PM at NMAAM at 510 Broadway in Nashville.

The public is welcome to attend the free event. No RSVP or tickets are necessary. First come, first served applies to entry.

On the most recent leg of the “Legacy Tour,” New Edition will perform at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville at 7:00 PM alongside Keith Sweat, Tank, and GUY.

In Nashville, Tennessee, at Fifth and Broadway, the National Museum of African American Music (NMAAM) will be formally inaugurated in January 2021.

Spirituals, blues, jazz, gospel, R&B, and hip-hop are just a few of the more than 50 musical genres and styles that were developed, influenced, or somehow inspired by African Americans, and the 56,000-square-foot institution is the only museum devoted to educating, conserving, and honouring them.

The six diverse galleries, which include artefacts, antiques, memorabilia, apparel, and cutting-edge technology, are intended to convey various perspectives on African American music and history.
