Death has taken another shining light of the Nigerian film industry. Amiable thespian Moji Olaiya passed away in Canada. She was born on February 27, 1975.
The actress recently gave birth to another child this March in Canada, 18 years after the birth of her first child, Adunoluwa. She was one of the queens of the Yoruba language films.
Her death is coming barely a month after the death of veteran actor Olumide Bakare and Pastor Ajidara. Olaiya made her acting debut in the Wale Adenuga Super Story production, “No Pain No Gain,” in which she played Ireti. She made her indigenous movie debut in the Yoruba movie, “Agunbaniro”.
In 2014, the actress who was born a Christian, converted to Islam. She is survived by her father, mother and daughters. May her soul rest in peace
