Police Arrest 3 Members Of ‘One Million Boys’ Gang In Lagos

The Ilemba-Hausa Division, Lagos State, of the Nigeria Police Force have arrested three members of the dreaded One Million Boys gang.

The gang specialized in terrorizing Ajangbadi, Shibiri and areas on the Badagry axis at Oto-Awori Local Development Council Area of the state. They have attacked several towns of the state where they injure, rape and steal.

The suspects, 25-year-old Emeka Emwis, 24-year-old Eze Ikasuana, and Kabiru Sadiq, 22, were arrested at the weekend when they attacked motorists and pedestrians plying the Ajangbadi-Shibiri Road.

The state Police Command spokesperson, SP Dolapo Badmus, while confirming the arrest of the suspects to newsmen, said some motorists, who escaped the robbery, alerted police and a team of anti-robbery policemen from Ilemba-Hausa Division were deployed to the scene where they arrested three of the suspects.

“Items recovered from the suspects include machetes and locally-made guns they used in dispossessing victims of cash and other valuables.

“The suspects have been transferred to Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, and will be charged to court at the end of investigations,” the spokesperson stated.
