Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka accompanied by his long time ally and a former Managing Director of Daily Times Newspapers, Dr. Yemi Ogunbiyi, on Thursday met with President Muhammadu Buhari behind closed-door in the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
However, Soyinka declined to field questions from State House correspondents on the details of his mission to the State House.
He said: “Wait, wait, wait, I didn’t come here to see you people, ah.“I came to discuss one or two things. “I came to talk about few things. “National matters, international matters, general matters, that’s all. “But right now, please I will just like to get away.”
Soyinka promised that he would be holding a press conference in another one week.
