The Paris Motor Show has just closed its doors after welcoming 1,253,513 visitors.
It remains the most visited Show in the World.
With over 100 premieres, very high quality stands, an exceptional historical exhibition co-produced with INA « Automobiles and Fashion » which attracted more than 75 % of the visitors and many innovating events, the 2014 Paris Motor Show is still a prolific dream maker.
This edition has also been very positive for the exhibitors in terms of new contacts and order intakes which have been equal or higher than those of 2012.
On the test drive center for electric and hybrid vehicles over 10,000 test drives were taken (20% more than in 2012).
The Motor Show workshops organized by the CCFA (the French Automobile Manufacturers’ Committee) have gone a step further in their reflection concerning the world of automobiles by addressing economic, social and technical subjects which are essential to the field. More than 700 participants attended a dozen debates.
The Show enjoyed outstanding international media coverage, with over 10,000 accredited journalists from 103 countries. Hundreds of hours of French and international (Brazil, Mexico, USA…) TV and radio reports and more than 8,200,000 page views on the website of the Show. The Paris Motor Show also remains the first automobile show in the World on Facebook with over 47,000 fans ahead of Frankfurt, Detroit, Geneva…The Paris Motor Dhow was first hosted in 1898 and the next edition will take lace in 2016
