President Donald Trump will be making a bold move to placate the Muslims in the U.S. and by extension the entire world as it has been revealed that he will be holding a Ramadan dinner, restoring a White House tradition that he had abandoned during his first year in office.
The dinner is expected to be held on Wednesday. The guest list was not made available.
The dinner will revive a tradition that Republican and Democratic presidents have carried out for years during Ramadan when Muslims fast during the daylight hours. A meal called an iftar breaks the fast.
The festival of Eid ul-Fitr which signifies the end of Ramadan is expected to begin on Thursday evening.
