Femi Kuti Sets New World Record For The Longest Single Note On Saxophone

At 51 minutes 38 seconds, Afrobeat legend, Femi Kuti is now the custodian of the world record for the longest single note on a saxophone.

The Bang, Bang single accomplished the feat at the New Afrikan Shrine in Lagos yesterday. Femi break the record formerly held by British composer Van Burchfield at 47 minutes 55 seconds on a second attempt haven falling short last week.

Femi Kuti used the circular breathing method to achieve his world record goal.
