Acting President Yemi Osinbajo continued his effort to push for peace on Thursday by having a closed door meeting with the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting which a continuation of his efforts to push for peace between the Igbos and the North. The Emir arrived at Aso Rock villa at about 2:40pm for the meeting which last till about 5pm. After the meeting, the Emir of Kano refused to answer questions posed to him by State House Correspondents .
The Acting President met with Leaders from the Eastern part of the country on Wednesday. He had met earlier on Tuesday with elders and leaders of thought from Northern states.
