Adele Beats Michael Jackson To Best Album Of All Time

0

Well, okay, not better in general because we all know that Michael Jackson is king and will always be but Adele came competing pretty close to the legendary pop king!

It has been reported that the ‘Rolling In The Deep’ hit maker has official beaten Michael Jackson and several other icons in the category ‘Greatest album of all time’. 21, Adele’s  second album beats Michael Jackson’s Thriller, Julie Andrews and the The Sound of Music soundtrack and Bruce Springsteen’s Born in the USA in the first ever poll that measured success in the US charts since 1963. The Beatles won the top overall act.

21 is estimated to have sold 30 million copies worldwide to date and is this century’s biggest selling album. While Adele may have topped several icons, the unbeatable and forever legend rock band The Beatles still owned the number one spot in the overall total of the poll.

However, while Adele has certainly reached a certain milestone with the newly garnered award, it certainly didn’t help ease her off all the pressure she’s feeling with her latest album ‘25’ coming out.

In an interview that Adele recently had with Observer, it seems she still doesn’t want to be so sure about anything with regards the album’s outcome no matter what everybody tells her.

“Some people I’ve spoken to have said, “You’re going to sell at least half of what you sold before.”” She said.

“But I don’t think anything is a given. You don’t’ know.”

Her upcoming album is entitled ‘25’ and will be released on Friday. Her debut single from the album entitled ‘Hello’definitely got a very warm welcome from fans all over the world so maybe Adele need not worry so much!

With already 327 million views – and still counting – on YouTube, the song ‘Hello’ was no doubt, a reminder to us all lot of just how strong and hard Adele can hit us with just a three-minute song.
