Following record-breaking, completely sold-out stadium concerts across the continent, Grammy- winning Burnaboy is planning a North American tour.

Following the release of his much awaited “City Boys” music video, Nigerian rapper Burna Boy is back with some exciting news: the I Told Them… Tour. The historic BMO Stadium in Los Angeles will serve as the starting point of this 16-city trip on November 3. Burna Boy will perform in a stadium for the first time in Los Angeles at this time. From there, the tour will travel across North America, stopping in cities including Houston, Chicago, Toronto, and more. The tour will conclude on March 9 with a spectacular finale at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.

Burna Boy made history in July by performing at Citi Field in New York City to a packed house as the first Nigerian artist to do so. Over 40,000 people attended the concert, including famous people like Busta Rhymes, SZA, NBA player Mo Bamba, NFL player Larry Ogunjobi, and British rapper Dave, who joined Burna Boy on stage for a remarkable rendition of their hit song “Location.”

Burna Boy became the first African musician to appear as the opening act in a stadium in the United Kingdom with his historic performance at London Stadium. He then achieved another landmark in Madison Square Garden, where he made history by becoming the first Nigerian performer to sell out MSG.

Burna Boy’s most recent album, I TOLD THEM…, debuted at the top of the official U.K. Albums chart, making him the first international African artist to accomplish this feat and continuing his string of ground-breaking accomplishments. The record raced to the top spot on Apple Music in 55 other nations as well. With the summer song “Talibans II,” which features Byron Messia, Burna Boy also made his third appearance on the Billboard Hot 100. The album’s debut track, 21 Savage’s “Sittin On Top Of The World,” recently occupied the top place on Rhythmic radio.

Burna Boy has received an astounding seven nominations for the 2023 BET Hip-Hop Awards in appreciation of his remarkable contributions to hip-hop. Tickets go on sale for the I Told Them… Tour with a Citi presale beginning on Tuesday, September 26 for fans eager to see Burna Boy live. Prior to the general on-sale, which starts on Friday, September 29 at 10 a.m. local time on Ticketmaster.com, there will be more presales throughout the week.
