Court Orders Final Forfeiture of Diezani’s $4.760 Million Penthouses

The Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has ordered the final forfeiture of $4.760 million penthouses allegedly belong to the former Minister of Petroleum, Mrs. Diexani Alison-Madueke.

Justice Mojisola Olatoregun specifically ordered on Wednesday that the two properties: Penthouse 21, building 5, Block C, 11th floor (Bella Vista Estate) Banana Island, Ikoyi, and Penthouse 22, Block B (Admiralty Estate) also in Ikoyi, Lagos, be forfeited to the Federal Government.

A temporary forfeiture was placed on the 17 December 2017 after the hearing of an ex parte application filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The EFCC had listed Mrs Alison-Madueke, Donald Amagbo, Schillenburg LLC, and Sequoyah Property Limited, as respondents to the application.
