Dangote Builds $3.5 Million Business School At BUK

Business magnate, Aliko Dangote, at the weekend donated a $3.5 million (N1.2 billion) building to the Bayero University, Kano business school.

The building which was aptly named the Dangote Business School after the donor is billed to attract global recognition. The Dangote Business School has been accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and will be the first business school in Nigeria to offer the Doctor of Business Administration (PhD) programme.

Dangote said: “The school is a big project that is rare to come by easily anywhere in the world. The structure comprises 650-seating capacity auditorium, two theatres, four lecture halls, two libraries, incubation centre, two cafeterias, 800kva soundproof generator and borehole, among others.”

He also disclosed that talks are on to affiliate the school to the Harvard Business School in the United States of America.
