Explosion At Tony Eze’s Country Home In Enugu

Several people were injured after an explosion hit the country home of a chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State, Tony Eze, Vanguard reports.

The explosion went off at about 5.00pm, destroying Eze’s house in Amokwe, Udi local government area of the State.

The sound of the explosion was said to have shaken the entire Udi town, home of Governor Sullivan Chime.

The Enugu state police command said it has commenced a full scale investigations into the incident with a view to finding out the possible cause of the sudden explosion.

Some of the injured were said to have been taken to the hospitals for treatment.
