The Nigeria Police Force as asked Interpol to arrest Senator Dino Melaye, representing Kogi West Senatorial district in the National Assembly, Mohammed Audu and six suspects who escaped from custody in Kogi State.
The Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim K. Idris, has ordered the immediate removal of Kogi state Commissioner of Police, CP Ali Janga over the escape of the suspects in the custody of the police.
Two of the escapee suspects claimed to be political thugs working for Melaye.
The Nigeria Police through Interpol as issued the red alert for Senator Dino Melaye, Mohammed Audu and the 6 escapees.
