Russia 2018: Nigeria Names Squad.

The wait is over. The gaffer of the Nigeria National team, the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr on Sunday named the 23-man squad to fly the Nigerian flag at the 2018 Mundial in Russia.

The team comprises of three goalkeepers, eight defenders, six midfielders and six forwards.

Missing out is the duo of Ola Aina and Mikel Agu.

This will be the sixth time Nigeria will be playing at the world cup. Nigeria made its debut appearance at the football showpiece in 1994.

The Super Eagles is in Group D in Russia along with Croatia, Iceland and Argentina.
