VIDEO – Jamie Foxx Reemerges In Public After ‘Medical Complication’

0

Since experiencing a “medical emergency” in April, Jamie Foxx has kept a low profile. However, it appears that his recuperation is doing well as he has been seen out in public for the first time in months.

On Sunday (July 9) in the late afternoon, the celebrated performer was spotted sailing around the Chicago River. Jamie was cheered and waved at by onlookers on a passing boat.

There also seemed to be some other passengers, possibly family members. His family has been at his side throughout the entire struggle, paying visits to him as he receives treatment in Chicago, so it’s not difficult to believe.

Additionally, TMZ verified that Jamie was seen out on the town the night before.

As you are aware, Jamie’s health has received a lot of attention, particularly since he opted to avoid the spotlight. Thankfully, it seems that he is improving and seeking a return to normalcy. As of late Sunday afternoon, he appeared to be back on social media, publishing a message that made reference to his own Brown Sugar Bourbon.

Welcome back, Jamie, and keep up the good work of asking for a quick recovery!

Despite the fact that it is still unknown what exactly is wrong with Foxx’s health, it was stated in May that he was “recovering well” in physical therapy.

Foxx’s daughter has dispelled rumours regarding her father’s health.

“Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating,” Corinne Foxx said in May in her Instagram Stories. “In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support! We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!”

Corinne Foxx’s posted an update on her dad’s social media account. “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed. See u all soon,” the caption read on Jamie’s Instagram account.

Jamie Foxx reportedly suffered a medical emergency on the set of his Netflix film Back In Action, where he was allegedly given life-saving medical intervention. Despite his celebrity friends revealing Jamie is on the mend, little information about the actual incident has been made public.

In a recent development, Foxx was seen tracking down woman, Terri “Queeni” Glen, to return her missing purse on Monday – something she was not even aware that she had misplaced.

In reference to the incident that happened in Chicago near the facility where Foxx is allegedly receiving treatment, Glen said to Fox News Digital, “I remember a horn was blowing, and my sister’s shouting, “Look over here.”

“I immediately knew it was my bag,” she said of the black town car opening and a man holding her purse. “And I’m like, ‘My bag?’ I said ‘Jamie?’. I knew it was him immediately, just like I thought it was my bag immediately.”

Glen watched a video on her phone to try and retrace her actions because she was unsure of how or when she could have misplaced the bag. She saw Foxx’s car in her video of the street and speculates that she may have dropped her handbag when circling it earlier.

Glen and her sisters were enjoying Chicago’s surroundings and filming it while riding a pedicab when they came into Foxx. Glen is in Chicago to help her sister as she battles breast cancer.

“I ran around the bicycle and I said, ‘Can I have a hug?’ And ‘Are you all right? Do you feel good?’ Like, I didn’t get to get a picture and I didn’t even know I had the video,” she explained of the quick series of events.

“He just quoted me, and he said, ‘I feel good.’”

“He just kind of had like a little smile, like he do … It made me really feel like he was appreciative of me asking about his well-being instead of saying, ‘Hey, can we get a picture?’”

“And then you hear him say, ‘You’re welcome, baby.'”

Foxx had no speech impediments, according to Glen, and he appeared “strong and well.”

“He hopped out of the car the same way you guys got the glimpse of him hopping back in, is the same way he got out … He got completely out of the truck and came over to the little bicycle. He actually – he’s good. He looks good. He feels good. He said he feels good.”

“He’s probably just trying to have his privacy and get completely well. I do feel like anyone in that car could have given me my bag. So I’m just hoping that he doesn’t mind,” she said of sharing the video. “And he probably expects in this day and age that people like to post stuff like that. I feel like if he wasn’t thinking that way or his team wasn’t thinking that that could happen, then one of them could have easily gave me my bag.”

Foxx was in the car, according to a source close to the actor.

Ever since his daughter Corrine made the original statement about the actor’s condition in April, Foxx and those closest to him have been mostly quiet about it.

A Foxx spokesman did publicly denounce a claim that Foxx’s “medical complication” was brought on by a COVID vaccine shot last month.

According to his spokesperson, the report was “completely inaccurate.”
