Nigerian music export Asake, took his career to the next level with a solid performance at the popular American comedy show, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Picking two tracks from his discography, Asake performed a medley of his recent songs “Yoga” and “Organise” from his debut album, “Mr. Money with the Vibe.”

He performed live on stage alongside The Compozers, a British-renowned musical band.

Who Is Asake?

Asake’s rise to stardom could be described as the fastest in the history of Nigerian music industry. With the aid of Youtube, his music quickly gained both local and global audience within a short period.

Asake is known for his unique blend of AfrobeatS and highlife music. Born Ahmed Ololade Asake in Lagos State, Nigeria, and endowed with a bachelor degree in Theater Arts from one of Nigeria’s prominent university. The talented singer and songwriter have been making waves since he burst onto the scene in 2020 with his hit song “Mr. Money”.

He is known for its upbeat tempo and catchy hooks, Asake’s music have made him a fan favorite in Nigeria and beyond. His lyrics often focus on love, success, and the hustle and bustle of life in Lagos, resonating with many young Nigerians who are currently enduring the economic hardship imposed by their corrupt leaders.
